Mailbird Referral Program - Invite 5 Friends to Get Mailbird Pro Lifetime for Free!

With the release of new Mailbird referral system, you can now enjoy Mailbird Pro for as long as you want by inviting 5 of your friends.

This is how the referral system in Mailbird works:

- You need to send out the invitations.

- Your invitees need to accept the invitation and actually install Mailbird.

- They have to use the email you sent the invitation to as their first account when setting up Mailbird for the first time. Otherwise, unfortunately, it will not work.

- IMPORTANT: this offer is for new users only. If you already have Pro license and then invite your friends, you will receive one month of Priority support for each invited user.

This is how you can invite friends -

1) Click on the menu at the top left of the Mailbird app and select 'Invite friends - earn Pro'.

invite2.JPG

2) Select friends that you want to invite or check the box 'Select all' to invite all your friends. Remember - if you invite 5 friends, you can get Pro Lifetime for free.

3) Click on 'Invite to Mailbird' to send invitations.

Don't want to invite your friends? Mailbird Pro plans cost only $1.25/month. See pricing.

Honestly, I am more than willing to pay for the product. Please add the following features..

    1. Ability to sort message list.

    2. Ability to jump between folders. Not Alt + 1-9. A real jump by name. I think most people have more than 9 folders.

    3. Ability to add/edit/delete IMAP folders in your Inbox tree.

These are just a few of the major missing components. The software is beautiful, but you need to make it functional as well.

I've already paid for the lifetime product.  I was kinda ticked off that Mailbird searched my emails to find 5 friends for me and auto-populate an invitation request.   If I want to invite someone, I will do so myself.  I hope that was a one-time inconvenience, but if not, then please put something in the software to tell Mailbird to never pre-populate a friend request, and furthermore never do anything without me requesting it first.

    Hi Andrew

Mailbird will never ever send email invites to your friend without your approval. If you believe that Mailbird is doing such a thing please send an email to support@getmailbird.com, since there might be a bug in your Mailbird

Tengo 5 amigos que han aceptado Mailbird, y aún no veo los meses que se han prometido. Necesito saber por qué? quiero referir mas personas, pero veo que no se cumple con lo prometido.

So far so good. I'm happy to pay something for quality software and Mailbird seems like it's well on its way to doing so. If someone is too cheap to pay US$12 a year for good software, then go use the free stuff. Time is money and this is a very nominal price to pay for their development time which in the end, saves me time (and therefore money). I'm not a software developer, but I am a power user. I've seen the amount of detail and effort these guys have put into this product. Do you expect them to work for free? Keep it up guys. Looking forward to the next round of updates.

There is nothing wrong with using free software, as long as it is being actively developed. Thunderbird was and is a great email client, but they stopped active development years ago. The extensions still make it a worthy client, but I believe we should do everything we  can to promote an email client under active development. There might be other alternatives, but most of them are too reluctant to hear the users opinions.

My main reason for switching to MB from TB is that TB has no 64 bit support for Win 7 or 10 and Tbird is not liking Win 10 at all. So far I have zero real issues with Mailbird. Thanks for the software, guys.

I'm kind of bummed out that I paid for the lifetime pro licence and activated it, and the program still keeps pushing the "Invite friends for lifetime of pro" scheme. Please fix this, it's really, really annoying.

yea i did it myself for 5 of my friends lol so i knw its done n it shows accepted on my mail bird... also make sure the mailbird is installed.. and you create the account with the same email address you invited the friend on..

The moment you add the friends email to the mailbird install on their pc, it will show you as accepted.

    Got the same problem......

Now, I have 11 friends with "accepted" , but I didn't get any code yet.

Also mailbird shows "(Today) ends in 23 Days" under the referral screen., that means, no PRO after that time, despite of my referrals.

Is there anything that my friends can do or must do in their Mailbird installation (yes, they use their referral mail adress to startt -> see status "accepted")

@ Mailbird Support.. Just a suggestion but do you think we could get a "Delete Invite" or "remove" option? because i have a couple of pending invites as i entered the Email address wrong haha and i dont know how to get rid of them from the list.

ok so i just invited a few more friends and now its working fine.. after they successfully get their email id setup on mail bird  few minutes later i get an email in my  inbox .. attached below..

This only very randomly started today as i invited a new person at  the start of the day.

not trying to be cocky or a smart ass guys.. just providing proof that it works.. but its random.. hopefully Mailbird will fix it for everyone soon

What i have done so far is only put up a post here and tried to invite atleast 1 to 2 people each day... instead of inviting alot of people at once.. maybe it will help any of you trying that..

    Hi Daniel

We have sent you a message via zendesk regarding the referral issue.

For the functionality to delete the invitation, we have added it to our backlog. Until then, you can email us which entry you want to delete and we will be happy to help you delete the entry from our system. :)

I have reinstalled mailbird after a clean install of windows 10. Mailbird downloaded and installed as thirty day pro trial and doesn't recognise my account that I paid for and enjoyed for well over twelve months. Can this be corrected, if not I need my original account terminating then I'll consider renewal.

I just wanted to make you aware off a small glitch with this feature.

I can only see the top off the "Invite to mailbird" button.

    See the attached picture.

PS. full hd resolution could have something to do here.

As an owner of a lifetime license, I will never use a referral program to get some extra months.

I would appreciate if you wouldn't show me a promotion window ever again. It serves no purpose.

I don't have any benefit of it, it's just advertisement for a product I already paid for and if I ever wanted to tell a friend about a program I will find a way to do that by myself.
