    Hi Justin,

we will be working on open sourcing the apps after Mailbird 2.0 launches. I cannot give a definite date as of yet, as it is too early.

However what app did you have in mind to develop for Mailbird? You can sign up to be an app contributor here: http://www.getmailbird.com/create-cool-new-apps-mailbird-api/

    Hi guys

If you can't find the app button on the bottom left of Mailbird, please go to this location

    C:\Users\"your user name"\AppData\Local\Mailbird

And delete Mailbird.config file. Please note that you need to do this while Mailbird is not running, and some of the folder I mentioned might be hidden.

    Hi,

is there a way to show new WhatsApp messages as notifications, the same way you show a new email notification?

    Cheers

    Hi there,

first of all: good work so far.

The one think i´am desperatly missing is a feature which "auto-organize" my mails in folders.

    First example:

All of my mails from work are comming from "@mywork.de". So I´d like to have a folder (called "work" e.g.) where all mails from this domain became automatically moved in. As far as I can see I have to move every single mail every time by rightclicking it or via shortcut. I can´t define adresses to be moved automatically everytime I recieve a message from that domain.

    Second example:

specific Email-adresses from different person became automatically moved into one folder. I´am playing tennis and 10 people are in my team. I want to be able to select their emails (10 people = 10 different adresses from different domains) by right-click or other way to add them to the folder "Tennis". All Mails from the selected people became automatically moved into the tennis folder.

Important: in both examples it would be extremly useful if there would be an Emailcuóunter of unread mail near the Folder like: Tennis [3] for three unread messages in the folder.

Let me now how you like this idea (or if the feature allready exists,  how I can find it...)

    Thanks Marco

I would like to see added:

    • a Send and Archive button that immediately archives a mail after having sent my response.

    • Google Hangout plugin (chat and videocall)

    • Skype plugin

I am using Project Timeline to track sub-tasks for my main personal and professional projects. Would love to have it as an additional map in mailbird!

Need to be able to OPEN PDF files from within MailBird's ASANA app. My company uses ASANA a lot and we also attach a lot of PDF files on it. We need to be able to OPEN the PDF files within the browser. The only option right now is to SAVE it. Most times I am only proofreading something or checking on something and don't need to save a copy. Works great in CHROME, but MailBird won't open them.

How about integrating basic filtering-functions via an App, like a quick access to Gmail web-interface filtering functions? What I mean is, mailbird does not need native filtering, only easy access to what Gmail does. For an active user it's not "set your filters in Gmail and your all set" because the need to add and modify rules may come up with any new mail any day.

It would be great if there was a possibility to view each inbox (or selected) in vertical panes, instead of selecte inbox + preview.

    also apps please for:

    google drive (not just docs)
    hangouts
    timeneye (time tracking)

    producteev

Guys, you should totally add notification badges to the apps (Whatsapp and Facebook for instance), to the system tray icon and to the windows notification center to warn the user when new activity occurs in them just like when new email arrives...

I loved all of the email part and almost all of the apps integration (except for the lack of notifications). I was about to get a yearly license but this was really a bummer to me and held me back. If you manage to implement it soon enough, I'll buy the pro in no time!

In my view it needs just this to be worthy of my money as te rest is flawless. :)
