If you are experiencing problems installing or setting up Mailbird, this article will offer some suggested steps to get you back on track. There could be different reasons for why you having issues with the installation process, so we would first suggest looking at these useful resources regarding the install process.

First of all, please take a look here at this simply step-by-step walk-through on how to install Mailbird. If you are still unable to install Mailbird successfully, then please try using this Installer instead. That should hopefully fix whatever the problem might be.

  1. Are You Installing Through A Firewall?

    To install with a firewall, you can change your firewall settings to allow ('whitelist') the Mailbird installer, or temporarily disable your firewall while Mailbird installs (which is what we recommend).

  2. Are You Installing Through A Proxy?

    You can set up Mailbird on a Proxy server by following these steps.

  3. You’ve got 2-Step Verification

    If you’ve configured your email to have 2-Step Verification, you can create an Application Specific Password for Mailbird here.
