🎬 What Are Show Animations?
Mailbird displays subtle animations when you transition between emails in your inbox and when you expand or collapse messages in a conversation. They're enabled by default to make navigation feel smoother.
🤔 Why You Might Want to Turn Them Off
Animations are mostly a visual preference, but disabling them can also help in two cases:
- Performance: Turning animations off can improve Mailbird's responsiveness on older devices or machines with limited RAM.
- Personal preference: Some users simply prefer an instant, no-motion interface.
⚙️ How to Enable or Disable Animations
Follow these steps to toggle animations on or off:
- Open the Mailbird menu in the top-left corner (the three horizontal lines).
- Click on Settings.
- Navigate to the Advanced tab.
- Check or uncheck the box next to Show animations.
