You can choose to completely exit Mailbird whenever you click on the X in the top righthand corner of the app - alternatively, it will be minimized whenever you click on the X, and you can access Mailbird easily via the icon located in the Windows' System Tray.

To adjust this setting, simply follow the steps below:

• Open the Mailbird menu in the top lefthand corner (i.e. the three horizontal lines).
• Click on Settings.
• Navigate to the General tab.
• Here, you can apply or a remove a checkmark to the box next to Quit Mailbird on close.
