Why you are seeing this error
Mailbird uses Microsoft Exchange Autodiscover to find the correct connection settings for many Exchange accounts. If Autodiscover is missing, not configured correctly, blocked by SSL or DNS issues, or returning an invalid response, Mailbird may not be able to add the account automatically.

What to do
- Check whether your Exchange admin has enabled and configured Autodiscover for the domain.
- Verify that the Autodiscover DNS records are present and correct.
- Make sure the Exchange web services and SSL certificate are accessible from outside the server if required by your setup.
- If Autodiscover is unavailable, ask your Exchange admin whether manual EWS configuration is supported.
- If your account is Microsoft 365 rather than on-prem Exchange, make sure you are using the correct Microsoft 365 provider flow instead of a manual Exchange path.
Important note
This issue is usually caused by Exchange server configuration, DNS, SSL, or network accessibility problems rather than by Mailbird itself.
