Mailbird can notify you with a sound each time you receive an email. This way, you can always be certain to never miss out on an email that has just landed in your inbox!

Below are the steps to enable or disable this feature:

• Open the Mailbird menu in the top lefthand corner (i.e. the three horizontal lines).
• Click on Settings.
• Navigate to the General tab.
• Here, click on the New message sound dropdown menu.
• Select which sound (if any) you would like to hear whenever you receive an email.

You can also upload your own notification sounds by clicking on Custom... from the dropdown menu, but please note that the only supported file type is .wav, and the maximum size is 2MB for best results.
