Yes! You can save or download emails to your computer by saving them in .eml format. This will allow you to view your email(s) offline at any point. Here's how to do this:
- Select the email in Mailbird and open the additional options by clicking on the small downward-pointing triangle in the message's header on the right (as shown in the screenshot below).
- Then, click on 'Message source'.
- Finally, save this as a file locally on your computer (e.g. on your desktop)
Another option is saving the email as a PDF file. To perform this action, click 'Print' on the selected email, and then choose 'Print to PDF'. Alternatively you can ask your email provider if they offer any kind of a backup tool, or use a 3rd party services such as Google Takeout for Gmail:
