Being able to select multiple emails from your inbox is an essential functionality for the vast majority of Mailbird customers. Being able to select multiple emails means that you can carry out a number of actions on a group of emails in a much more time-efficient way.
Below is a list of the actions you could take:
- Archive several emails at once
- Delete several emails at once
- Label several emails at once
- Star several emails at once
- Mark several emails as Important at once
- Move several emails to a folder at once
- Mark several emails as Spam at once
- Mark several emails as Read or Unread at once
Please note that multi-select does not work for forwarding or replying to emails.
How to use Multi-select in Mailbird:
You can select multiple emails in the following ways:
- Hit Ctrl + Left Click to choose which emails you would like to select as part of your group.
- Hit Shift + Left Click to choose which emails you would like to select as part of your group.
- Hit Ctrl + A to select all emails in your list.
Once you have selected some emails from your inbox, you must choose which action you would like to take. You can do this by right clicking on one of your selected emails to show a list of actions you can take, or by using our keyboard shortcuts (as shown below).
