In this article we will examine a rare problem which occurs when you try to add a contact to the list of contacts associated with your email account (e.g. Gmail, Outlook, Hotmail, etc.), but instead it gets mistakenly added to your list of Mailbird contacts, which is a separate list of contacts altogether.
In order to avoid having new contacts incorrectly appearing on a separate list, keep reading to find out the reason for this and the solution to this problem.
Explanation
This undesired behavior occurs if we connect an email account to the Contacts app by clicking on +Connect other account instead of simply applying a check to the box located to the left of the email account that we want to connect.
Solution
If you have experienced this unwanted behavior, you should disconnect your email account from the Contacts app, and connect it once again, but this time do not click on +Connect other account - instead, simply apply a check to the box adjacent to the email account you would like to connect to the app.
In order to avoid this problem in future, always connect your email account to the Contacts App by applying a check to the box adjacent to your email account, rather than clicking on +Connect other account.
