Amongst the many useful apps which Mailbird is proud to offer its customers, you will also find our Attachments app. In this article, we'll explain how to activate this app, and how to get the most out of it.
The Attachments app allows you to search through your attachments quickly and easily in order to find the exact one that you are looking for.
Here’s how to use it:
- First, make sure that you have enabled the app in Mailbird - simply click on the dots in the bottom lefthand corner of Mailbird in order to open the Apps menu.
- Now, apply a check mark next to the box adjacent to Attachments.
- You will now see a paperclip icon appear down the lefthand side of Mailbird - this means that the Attachments app has been enabled. Go ahead and click on it now.
- Next, you will see a collection of attachments appear on your screen. These are your attachments, and you can filter which ones you would like to see by using a file name or file size.
- Additionally, you can either include or exclude certain types of attachments from your search, such as:
- Inline attachments
- Trashed attachments
- Spam attachments
- You can also open or save any attachment, as well as open the conversation it came with by clicking on the menu box in the bottom corner of each thumbnail.
