In Mailbird, you can choose to hide the Mailbird icon from the Windows Task Bar when you minimize it. It's very easy to do, and you'll find the steps below:

• Open the Mailbird menu in the top lefthand corner (i.e. the three horizontal lines).
• Click on Settings.
• Navigate to the General tab.
• Here, you can apply or a remove a checkmark to the box next to Hide taskbar icon when minimized.
