✉️ What Does Auto-Collapse Do?

In Mailbird, you can choose to automatically collapse the recipient fields in the compose window, including To, Cc, and Bcc.

When this setting is enabled, Mailbird will only show the sender and recipient details while your cursor is hovering over the address field. This helps keep the compose window cleaner and more focused while you are writing your email.

⚙️ How to Enable or Disable Auto-Collapse

To turn this setting on or off, follow the steps below:

1. Open the Mailbird menu in the top lefthand corner of Mailbird (i.e. the three horizontal lines).
2. Click on Settings.
3. Navigate to the Composing tab.
4. Apply or remove the checkmark next to Show sender and recipient details only when cursor is on address field.
