In this article, we will look at how you can set your Auto-Download Limit, and what this means exactly.
Setting the Auto-Download Limit in Mailbird allows you to customize and control what gets downloaded to your computer. Oftentimes, you may not want to download every single file or attachment which you receive in your inbox, and this feature allows to set a rule for precisely what is downloaded and what isn't.
For example, you can set the Auto-Download Limit to zero if you prefer downloading each file manually to your device - doing so is ideal for people who would prefer to limit the amount data consumed while they are online, in order to avoid downloading large files unnecessarily.
Here's how to adjust the Auto-Download Limit in Mailbird:
- Open the Mailbird menu in the top lefthand corner (i.e. the three horizontal lines).
- Click on Settings.
- Navigate to the Advance tab.
- Here, you can use the slider to adjust the Auto-Download Limit.
- When you have set the limit, only files with a size smaller than the limit you have opted for will be downloaded to your device.
