📬 Introducing the Unified Inbox in Mailbird
Here's where we'll talk about a feature that makes managing multiple email accounts easier than ever: the Unified Inbox!
You’ll find the Unified Inbox in the top-left corner of your Mailbird window (as highlighted in red below), but please note that it will only appear once you’ve added more than one email account to Mailbird.
âť“ What Is the Unified Inbox?
The Unified Inbox combines all your messages from your inbox, drafts, sent, archive, and other folders, from all email accounts connected to Mailbird into a single, unified view.
No more switching between accounts to check messages. Everything is available in one place! You can also customize which accounts appear in the Unified Inbox, allowing you to include only the ones you want.
🧠Smart Features of the Unified Inbox
The Unified Inbox doesn’t just display all your messages, it’s also smart:
-
It remembers which email account received the message, so replies are sent from the correct address.
-
You can search across all accounts at once, making it easier to find what you need.
⚙️ Enabling or Disabling the Unified Inbox
To enable or disable the Unified Inbox:
-
Open the Mailbird menu in the top-left corner (three horizontal lines).
-
Click on Settings.
-
Navigate to the Accounts tab.
-
Check or uncheck the box next to Enable unified account.
🚀 Unified Inbox on Startup
Want Mailbird to open directly to your Unified Inbox? You can configure this via the Accounts tab by applying a checkmark next to Select on startup.
