Notification of New Emails

You can choose to turn email notification on or off. Turning them on allows you to see a message pop up from your system tray.

When you click on the notification it opens that email in Mailbird when it is minimized or not the active window.

To adjust your email notification settings:

1) Go to the Mailbird menu in the top left of the main window.

2) Select "Settings"

3) Click the "General" tab

4) Check or un-check the "Notifications: Show tray notification when receiving a message" box.

When will you update Mailbird to control notifications per account?

Without that control, the feature is balanced out.

I don't wish to get notifications from email accounts that I check once a week (but I added into Mailbird).

    Hi Matt

Thank you for your feedback, I love your idea about the ability to customize notification for each account. As much as I love it though, we need more user to back up for the idea first. It wouldn't be fair to the other user that have supported other ideas if we just implement the one that we love. I guarantee you once this idea hits around the top 10 request, it will be implemented in Mailbird.
