πŸ“Œ Overview

Mailbird gives you the flexibility to organize your inbox in a way that suits your workflow. One of the most popular options is to group unread conversations at the top of your message list, making it easy to prioritize what still needs your attention.

This article will walk you through the simple steps to enable (or disable) this feature in just a few clicks.

βš™οΈ How to Group Unread Messages at the Top

Follow these steps inside the Mailbird app:

  1. Open the Mailbird Menu by clicking the three horizontal lines in the top-left corner.

  2. Select Settings from the dropdown menu.

  3. Navigate to the Appearance tab.

  4. Locate the option called β€œGroup unread conversations at the top.”

  5. Check (or uncheck) the box depending on your preference.

Once enabled, all your unread messages will automatically appear at the very top of the message list pane, ensuring you never lose sight of what still requires a response.

πŸ‘€ What to Expect After Enabling This Setting

  • Unread messages pinned at the top – Regardless of the date they arrived, unread conversations stay grouped above all others.

  • Improved inbox visibility – Quickly scan and handle pending tasks without scrolling.

  • Easy toggling – If you prefer the standard chronological view, you can disable this option at any time by following the same steps.
