Introduction
On our pricing page you will currently find three different types of licenses:
- Mailbird Free
- Mailbird Standard
- Mailbird Premium
In this article, we will go through what the key differences are between these licenses so that you can make the most informed decision before you proceed with your purchase.
If you have purchased one of our older licenses (such as Personal, Business, Pro, etc.) and you would like to find out what is or is not included as part of your license, then please contact a member of our team who will be happy to provide you with all the details.
Mailbird Premium
As our most comprehensive licence, Mailbird Premium provides our customers with an enhanced email management experience which includes a variety of advanced features exclusive to this license. With Mailbird Premium, our customers can enjoy functionalities such as:
- Support for Microsoft Exchange email accounts.
- Connecting an unlimited number of email accounts to Mailbird.
- Access to all of Mailbird's integrations.
- Unlimited Email Tracking to monitor recipient engagement.
- Our Custom Apps feature which helps you access all your favorite tools directly from Mailbird.
- Email Templates to compose emails more rapidly.
- A Unified Inbox to manage all your email inboxes efficiently.
- Our ChatGPT integration.
- The ability to Block Sender for any unwanted emails.
Our Mailbird Premium plan also includes the option to configure Advanced Email Signatures, and you can expect more features to become available for this license since we will shortly introduce more cutting-edge functionalities exclusively for our Mailbird Premium license customers, which will set it aside even further from our other licenses.
Overall, Mailbird Premium is designed to streamline email communication and boost productivity for customers who want the complete Mailbird experience, and naturally it also includes everything which our other licenses offer.
Mailbird Standard
The Mailbird Standard plan offers our customers an effective email management solution, but with fewer features and functionalities than our Mailbird Premium license. With this license, you will be able to enjoy features such as:
- Connecting up to three email inboxes to Mailbird.
- Five emails per month with Email Tracking.
- Support for IMAP and POP3 email accounts only.
- Move emails between email accounts.
- Personal App integrations only.
While lacking some of the more advanced features available in the Mailbird Premium license, our Mailbird Standard license still provides a fantastic interface and effective email organization capabilities. It remains a highly suitable solution for individuals who require a reliable email client without the need for any of the features included in our Mailbird Premium license.
Mailbird Free
Mailbird Free provides our customers with a streamlined and intuitive email management experience at no cost whatsoever.
While offering only essential features such as support for one email account and a customizable interface with different backgrounds and color themes, it lacks all of the other functionalities available in our other licenses. Nevertheless, Mailbird Free remains a convenient option for users seeking a basic yet efficient email client for personal or casual use.
Below is a table which illustrates the limitations of our Mailbird Free license when compared with our other two licenses.
What are Lifetime Updates?
Our Lifetime Updates add-on is only applicable to our Pay Once licenses, so if you have purchased a license (or are thinking of purchasing a license) with a Yearly subscription, then you do not need to worry about this add-on.
Although our Lifetime Updates is an optional add-on product, we strongly recommend that all customers purchase it for their Pay Once licenses since it will ensure that Mailbird continuously receives critical updates and new features for the following 12 months. Failure to not include it will mean that your version of Mailbird will remain 'static', and you will not receive any new features beyond the ones included in your version of Mailbird at the time of purchase.
To find out more about this add-on, we suggest reading our other article called Why am I being charged for Lifetime Updates?
